what recommended sway bars
im going to strat to road race my eg hatch. the prob is that i dont know what kind of sway bars are recommended for my setup. what do you guys think?
You sure we're the guys to ask? After all, we're too slow for J right now
Aside from the motor and chassis, what you have for springs, shocks, etc ... are probably going to help someone help you.
Best of luck.

helps with understeer, the car rotates alot easier.

If you change nothing else on your setup, maybe.
Alignment, tire pressures play a big part in it.

are you ruining those spring rates on KYB AGX's like it says you are? if so i'd look into something beefier i don't think they can handle that high of rates.
i run koni yellows with 380f/450r springs with a 19mm sway bar. the car is really nuetral it just wants to stay planted. if and when my car starts to over steer i will just add more spring rate and leave the sway alone its alot cheaper to do that then buy another sway.

i raced my car at Buttonwillow earlier this year (config 13 cw) and my car didnt understeer very much at all. there was maybe 1 turn where the car pushed a little bit more than i would have liked.
running no front sway bar, just doesnt seem right to me. ive never tried it, maybe you guys are right but i would think it would have a little more body roll.
my set..
Tein HA 6k front springs (336lbs) 8k rear springs (448lbs)
Civic Si 21mm front sway bar
Integra Type R 22mm rear sway bar
GSR front strut bar, RedStone rear strut bar
Skunk2 front upper control arms
SPC rear camber kit
15" Kosei K1's with 205/50-15 Azenis
in last turn at Buttonwillow (Sunset) the rear would step out quiet often if i wasnt really smooth with the brakes and steering imput.
i would try using front bar with bigger stock or aftermarket bar out back, if your car understeers alot.. try taking off the front bar
