quick help/brain fart: i want to raise the car, which way do i adjust the springs???

Default quick help/brain fart: i want to raise the car, which way do i adjust the springs???

bout to leave for expo and want to raise the car for the ride, do i compress the springs, or do i turn it to let the springs elongate themselves?

move the perch UP the shock -- so that would be compressing the springs.

turn clockwise to raise, when i say turn clock wise i am assuming you have adjustable threaded body coilovers and its the lower body that you are moving....

by screwing them up to raise the car your increasing the pre-load and so stiffening the springs which will not help the ride comfort, in fact it will possibly make it worse! That is unless you have helper springs to take the pre-load...unfortunately i dont and therefore having the car sat lower increases the comfort a bit!

im sure he means so he doesnt rip his front end off on the shitty roads on the way there.

anyway Jorod since it doesnt look like you have gotten the right answer yet. counterclock wise is up , and clockwise is down.
