Default D16z6 build up

Hey Guys,

Going to do a D16z6 build up here pretty soon and needed some advice. I'm pretty sure I'm going to go with the crowl (sp?) rods / pistons, block guard, arp head studs and a decent turbo. The question I have is how the h3ll is my tranny going to hold up. I've been playing around with the LSD idea and think might just give that a shot, but what's out there? And anyone know about transmission builds and what options there would be out there?

Thanks!

You don't have a lot of choices with your trans. You can replace the differential though. Anything else is money money money. My big question is, what do you plan to do about engine management for your turbo?

Oh yeah, crowl = crower

Don't need much for your tranny. Most Honda trannies hold up to lots of power unless you rag the crap out of it of are making INSANE power. Bolt up a nice clutch, pressure plate and flywheel. Off you go. If you want extreme tranny modification, swap out the Final Drive for more acceleration. But, this is a COSTLY modification as is installing an aftermarket LSD unit such as Kaaz and Quaife.

I believe there is a thread on the Autocross forum about the OBX unit. Since OBX has been making **** parts for a living, what makes you think they changed up and actually made a good unit? I wouldn't trust a vital part of my transmission to a company with their reputation down the crapper.

Thanks guys for the comments. I was actually talking with a friend of mine (D-booster) that's doing a pretty nice build up on a d16z6 and is going to use that OBX one. Has anyone else used it?
