How do you reset the maintenance lite on 2000 acord?

PLEASE HELP!!!! How do you reset the maintenance lite on 2000 acord?
I fix and got the engine check lite off. How do I get the maintenance. lite to turn off?

hold that one button ( right side i believe), *with key off* then turn to ignition two..and wait until it stops blinking..then i think you take the key out, and let go of the button...start the car and then see if it goes away after staying on for a bit...

Right.
Push in and hold the tripmeter reset button.
Turn the key to the "ON" position.
Wait untill the Maint light goes off.
Release button, turn off key.

I try that it didn't work. Anyone know any other way to shut it off. It's a v6 if that make any difference. It doesn't blink just stay on. Please help!

exactly as qouted, it may take 10seconds or more, but it will turn off.

Do the accords have a back up fuse that you can pull, like the civic? I don't know that much about accords, but that might be an option. I'm sure somebody, who knows better, can correct me on this.

I have an Accord too, and I just pull out the bulb behind the gauge cluster that lit the Maint Req ligh. Local dealer charge me $250 to turn off that light
