Mugen 5 ways
I am curious to know if anyone has had any experience with the mugen 5 way coilovers on their civics. If so what are your impressions? I am in the market for a suspension system that will not only serve me well on the street but also on the track. I have spoken to their technical people and now I need someone else's opinion. I am basically trying to justify spending the $2000 on them instead of something else. Thanks
There is no real way to justify dropping 2 grand on some shocks for a street driven Civic. That is, unless, these things'll win you a car show or two. Doesn't sound like that's your inclination, though.
Koni Yellahs/Ground Controls are your friends. Best $800 I spent on my Civic.

JIC FLT 2's are good as well
Mike, the Hiper max dampers handle really really really well...very stiff ****. If you EVER go to japan, theres a big store called Crystal's..u can pick some hiper max dampers for 600$..just because the box is damaged.

Christ, don't get JICs. Do a search and see how shitty a bunch of R owners got treated through a group buy with them.
If you're spending $2000 on shocks, you'll want them custom valved and sprung for your particular car... and if you know enough to have that done, well, you wouldn't be asking us about Mugen 5 ways.
