Default Momo Steering wheel install questoim regarding SRS?

I am about to install a Momo steering wheel onto a 95 civic cx and was wondering if the SRS light will stay on if I do this?
If so will this affect anything negatively?
Also is there anyway to make it stay off if it goes one?

Thanks
-Brian

When you install your momo wheel and hub, you will need to remove the cable reel. Also to answer your question yes your srs light will stay on. One of three things to try and or do but note that if your vehicle is equip with a passenger air bag the removal of your drivers airbag will cause your pass. side bag not to work in a case of an accident. Back to the point you can find the srs control unit and unplug it, you can remove your gauge cluster and remove your srs bulb and lastly you can remove the fuse or fuses that run the srs system.

Beware of removing the fuses and make sure there is no power. My friend was removing his stock steering wheel off his eclipse to put on a MOMO. When he was taking the fuse out the static electricity arced from his finger and popped his airbags. Not only did he now have to replace the pass. side but he wound up w/ a broken collar bone. Just thought I'd warn ya. HAVE FUN

wait a MINIMUM of 30 minuets before disconnecting anything related to the airbags after the battery is disconnected. it can litterally decapitate you if you are next to it when it deploys. the squib only takes 3 volts to deploy the bags.

and just remove the light from the cluster.
