Hondata and VAFC = change VTEC crossover

Hondata and VAFC = change injector pulse

Hondata and VAFC = require dyno tuning

Hondata = change spark (timing) maps

Hondata = datalogging

Hondata = boost tables

Hondata = way more expensive to get the fun toys and make it worth it

Personally, I went with Hondata. I like being able to log in real time and watch the true RPMs and the injector duty cycle and water temp and all that. It's meaningful to race applications. The only thing the VAFC can't do is modify your timing maps and that's it's biggest downfall.

what mods do you have first.

Getting a V-AFC or Hondata just to change the VTEC crossover sounds kinda lame to me when most people say for the MOST part (not all situations) the VTEC crossover from the factory is sufficient. Now if you have some mods to back this up then go for what you can afford. If i could do it all over I would go with Hondata vs the AFC but cost was the biggest factor
