Default How much should I sell my GSR for...

Well I think I'm getting out of the game so I need a couple opinions about how much I should be asking for my car.

98 gsr black 68000 miles
JDM front non HID
16' slipstreams with parada spec 2's
Tokico blues with eibach sport springs
greddy power extreme cat back
aem cai
Black Sparco front seats
nice deck and speakers

The catch is its got a salvage title, interior, wheels, usdm front end were all stolen a couple years ago but were replaced with everything I listed. The numbers match on the engine and all other parts.

Just need some heads up from a couple of you, the salvage does look ugly on the slip but everything stolen was replaced with better parts...

TIA

It's hard to say, but I would guess that 10k is probably about right. Maybe a little more or less, depending on the person.

i'd say about 12k to 14k its clean and milage aint bad. the title isnt horrible either. not like its been in a major accident. so 14k-16k at most. and that means u found a sucker to buy it

a stock 98 would probably be sellable for 9-10K. with a clear title.

yours will be less valuable to most people. you will get a premium IF AND ONLY IF the buyer wants your mods. then, you'll get maybe 9-11K, with a clear title. Selling a car with mods takes time. selling a car with mods AND a salvage title is something else entirely. With the salvage title, a buyer who likes your car may pay 8-9K.

with the salvage title and mods, I'd say about 6K is a market value. It doesn't matter if the parts are better or not.

12-14K? Suuuure. not for a salvage. I was selling my 99 GSR. It's value was probably 11-12K, but my brother snapped it up for 9500 the day I listed it. Needless to say, there were a few dissapointed callers...GSRs are in demand

the ppl that are telling you 14k are nuts
you will get a lil more than half that
the car is salavaged
in order to get the most money put everything back to stock and sell the after market parts.

Between 8-10 thousand is what I would expect to get.

yeah those 14-16k ones are a little over the top, I was going to list it for 9 and sit on it, once someone offers 8500 or 8 I'll go for it. Just have to wait for a guy that wants a black gsr with jdm front. I mean the salvage is a salvage but it wasn't because the engine got stolen and car stripped or a major accident so I just have to find the right person.

id be sure to explain to people why its a salvage, not like its been in a accident and had the frame repaired or anything.. jdm front is tight.

KBB private party is $8450 for a 98 gsr in good condition. add $375 if it is a 5 speed manual- $8,825
but since the title is a salvaged one, that hurts the resale value, though you can argue to someone who knows the difference that it was a theft recovery and not a wrecked teg.

you got the right idea
just make sure to list it in as many places as you can with pics........cause it looks nice and clean; the pics alone will sell the car

I think you can definately get 9k for it. Just sit on it until you get the price you want. Its hella clean and don't worry, someone will buy it. Low miles, very nice on the outside, clean as hell and hey...nearly all tegs around are salvage , goodluck on the sale. Nice car, sorry to see you let it go.
