around december i had to change out the fuel pump to my crx. after i changed it out it ran good and it started up fine. It ran for about two months and then it just went out again. So i just changed out the fuel pump again cause it stop priming when i would put it on the on position. it run for about a month and again it took a dump on me. this time i got smart and checked if the fuel pump was geting any power under the back storage compartments. I came to the conclusion that the fuel pump relay was bad so i took it to my machanic for him to fix, he too said it was the relay so he changed it out. i got it back and it was fine it ran and started up good untill today when it took a dump on me AGAIN! WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON!! What could it be? Its starting to **** me off. if anybody has any idea what could it be please help.

mine does the same it just wont start somtimes when its real hot, thats a common problem for efs its the relay i beleive. im almost tempted to just unplug mine and take it inside with me to keep it from overheating, im not sure if there is a way to prevent it

What did he replace it with? A new one or another one?
I'm going through this too. I drilled a couple of holes in the top of the relay cover.
I was thinking this would help keep it a bit cooler.
Worked good for a couple of days then it got real bad.
I hear the solder cracks over time which equals resistance and eventually an open circuit.
I'm gonna try desoldering then resoldering.
Got another from the junkyard for $3.
If i **** it up, $71 for a new one from honda.

Great and cheap anti theft device that way.

Also you can get a main relay from a newer civic and use that as well.
