I just called the track and asked about camper arrival times.

Earl Seiler said that there was Gov. training on Friday that would run late into the night.

He said that we would not be able to set up camp until after 10pm.

He did say that we would be able to stay at the track Saturday night after the event was over.

Bertil-Roos is coming in on Sunday to setup but as long as the campers were away from the main area we could stay.

I will be heading straight to the hotel and then heading to the track after the banquet.

Gov't training..... like teaching the cops how to drive, or guys in suits whipping a limo around the track while being shot at by guys in a helicopter yelling about a jihad?

Can we camp Thursday night? If not, I'll have to find a place in the woods....

bad things happen with fireworks at the track. When the port a potty almost blew up last year. The security guy got somewhat pisssed

No, as one of the guys reminded us last year "it's a $1500 fine for lighting off fireworks in the state of PA" or something along those lines.

Hell, they won't be able to figure out which one of us is setting them off.....

I'll bring some sparklers and a chicken.

 

Looks like some flashlights will be in order for setup of the ol tent.

I dont really care as long as I have a beer in my hand what time it is when we setup the tent.

 

I will have a gas lantern with me to help set up my canopy.

camper = easy to setup.

 

goin tonight to look find that liquor store here locally that sold PBR light.

There are beer dist. and a state store not too far away in New Castle. Approx. 15 mins out.
