I have a 95 civic and some kid lowered it the alignment is off how do i fix it.
I bought this 95 civic and it was hit in the front corner, well i got it pulled out and i took it over to the alignment guy and he asked me a couple of questions; well i told him i had to replace the lower control arm and the wheel bearing and the arm that has the wheel bearing in it. He told me that its not a good ideal to lower civics and that the alginment toe was off. out by 2 degrees on the front and in 1 degree on one back and out on the other. I told him that these cars are lowered all the time and they make kits but i thought the shocks on the car where cheap and if i put some stock shocks back on it would straighten back up. But he said he didnt know. Now i dont know what to do. I need some help if anyone has been in this type of circumstance, and might of ran into the same problem.
bring it to another alignment shop and get your alignment and toe straighten up. that guy dont seem to know much.
Unless there is some other suspension damage like a badly fucked tie rod or something, your toe should be able to be put back to stock spec. Shocks won't help, though, because you'll still be lowered. Even if you are lowered, any good alignment shop will be able to put everything to the limits of stock alignment specifications except camber if you don't have an aftermarket adjustable camber kit. But everything else can be put to OEM specs. My Civic is dropped 2.5" and was just aligned about a month or two ago. No problems from the shop I went to.

also if your gonna lower dont put cheap springs on it. I recommend ground control coilovers or skunk 2 coilovers. with some good struts suspension is a major factor in ride comfort.
