Maybe a stupid question
91' honda crx 1.5L dpfi
Info: I just put her in, full rebuild. Head was inspected and fixed and parts replaced as needed. I do have oil PSI around 25. I do have anti-freeze in the system along with new water pump. Just replaced head gasket too. Machine shop used white lithium grease for assembly of the head. I understand the problem below sounds like a blown head gasket but read above.
Problem: I crank the engine over(timing is perfect), white puff of smoke. I let her run at idle(1,200k JUST FOR NOW), still white smoke, however less. Driver her around the block, good amount of white smoke(enough for any driver to get really pissed)
Question: Are there any lines that I switch up that will allow small traces of anti-freeze into the cylinder(s ) without causing any signs of backfire/miss fire or internal damage? Also any other ideas on how and why I could be having this white smoke issue?
As for the whole whether or not my h/g sealed right, I don't have the means or money to get a cylinder leak down test
Thanks and Peace

Is it possible to have too much oil in the car? Hondas do that with too much oil. White smoke, hesitation, choking, no acceleration. Sounds too simple but possible, easy solution also, drain some oil. Just a thought. Not all problems are difficult to fix.
if its a full rebuild did you correctly prime the motor for a fresh start. hope you did. How many qts of oil did you put it? you need to prime it with 4 qts of non synthetic and run it then I drain that and put in four qts of good oil. to prime the motor you need to turn the car over approx. 8-10 times with out pushing in the clutch.

One time i put too much oil and it started to white smoke. drained and put new oil in and still white smoked. found out that the too much oil fried the spark plugs. replaced those and ran like new. try that if that does not work i don't know. good luck.
