Default camshaft install

Hi, I am planning on installing a set of jdm b16a cams which come with the factory cam gears. My question is whether or not I will need anything else for this swap? Would I need to buy the b16a ecu as well or can I program my 99 integra gsr ecu to accept these different cams? The reason for the swap is the extra 200 rpm you get at redline. One last question, how would I get around my factory set 8,000 rpm rev limiter. Will installing these new cams autmatically reconfigure the rev limiter or how would I reset that? Any help would be great. Thanks.

P.S. I am pretty sure my factory gsr
valve springs can handle these
new camshafts, if not please let me
know!!!

I would suggest looking into getting the Type-R valve springs to go along with those cams.
You will definately need to update the ECU program since with those cams you are not going to get the correct AIR/Fuel ratio need to run the car clean. I personally like the Hondata s200 system. I'm not sure that is you purchased the AFC VTEC controller if that would allow you to tweak your ECU enough to get all of your settings right, but I am sure that others here will know for sure.

Why all the work for those cams???? Please inform me.

You should get new seals such as cam plug, cam ring seals, and valver cover gasket. Have a helms nearby, it's not too hard if you take your time.

I'd suggest ITR cams instead though.
