no spark
Ok, today I hooked up my amp wire to my battery and proceeded to the car wash. Anyways After I get to the car wash I found out that I didn't have my wallet. Tried to start it and .... nothing
.......
The starter would turn, but the engine wouldn't turn over. I called a buddy of mine and he walked me through a procedure to check to see if there were any sparks going through the distributor and wires. if I did it right, no spark came out.
After several frustrating hours I've concluded that I shorted something out when I connected my amplifier wire. The problem is I've checked all the BLADE type fuses and they all seem to be fine.
What else can I check for? I've already checked the amplifier wires to see if there was any damage to them, and there isn't. I'm stumped and I don't have a running car agian
Oh yeah, its a 92 Integra with a 94+ obd1 GSR engine.

If the starter is turning but the engine won't turn over only means one thing. You need a new flywheel and or starter. Some of your teeth are broken or ground down. Did you try push starting it to at least get it home?
I know that a lot of people don't know alot about cars but when they call a friend that supposedly knows about cars and gives them false info it upsets me. Of course you aren't getting spark. Your engine needs to turn over in order to supply spark to the plugs. Unless you are not phrasing this the way it needs to be phrased.
It sounds as if the fact that you went to a car wash was a coincidence. Good luck with that. Make sure your starter is engaging but your engine is not turning. You'll hear that starter spin. Its a loud *** whine.
