I have a b16 in an EG coupe. It cranks(turns over) but will not start. Battery and starter are fine. I get fuel but no spark. The lights on the dash light up except the battery light. Do I need to clean the battery terminals?? I just changed my distributor cap less than a year ago. Any help would be appreciated.

 

Sounds to me like a Bad I.C.M.
(Ignition Control Module)
No spark is usally the tale-tale sign.
It's a very common problem with Hondas.

 

By the way.

1992-1995 Hatchbacks are called EG's only in Japan.
Coupes fall under a different Designation.
