first time cranking it over and nothing......

lsvtec first time cranking it over and i get nothing...... no click from the starter. all grounds are connected good. all fuses are good.. what to check next?

iginition switch
relays
good battery?
is the starter properly connected..
the big fat wire and the little skinny one?

pull out starter and get it checked from local parts shop. Atleast then you will know it's NOT the starter.
