Default del sol swap?

does anyone know from experience what the best engine is to put in a del sol? the h22 has massive power but ive heard it will compromise your steering as it is heavier than most others. also, how much power can i get out of a b18c5 (for curiosities sake)

P.S. can anyone give me a few good sites for engine specs?

i've heard (from where i forget) that b18C's do not have good results. Go for b16's. i myself was considering a b18

this is a rumor made by ignorant people check this thread
https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=684550

as for having actual expeirence i couldnt tell you but dont let ignorant people stop you from gettin the h22 if thats what you want. I drive a 98 coupe with a b18c1 and I will admit i steered away from the h22 based on dumb asses comments here on honda-tech and i now regret not gettin the h22 because i dont have the money to mod but oh well im stuck with a b18c1 ej8. not that gsr motors are crap because it is a very good baseline engine and it will have many more aftermarket parts availibe. hope that helps.

B18c's don't have good results? First you have some more hp and quite a bit more torque, and it doesn't have good results? Nice first post, we'll let it slide. Putting a b-series in a del Sol is very similar to putting it in a 92-95 Civic except for the fact that you need to go with the del Sol VTEC shift linkage. Well worth it in my opinion, and after this buildup, it'll really shine.
