Default USDM Integra headlights...

Anyone have any idea if the '94-97 headlight housings are the same as the '98+? I'm trying to figure if I can swap lenses without having to buy a complete new unit for $200-230 each.

Yes, I'm going backwards...I've fabricated a splitter/spoiler using a '94-97 version because the '98+ don't have a flat lower but my '01 headlights don't fit. Used headhlights [older] are always nasty and yellowed so hoping I can just use new lenses.

Here is the model number(s) on the 2001:

The headlamps assemblies are different. If ur asking just about the very outer clear plastic cover well, i dunno... good luck. i don't think it'd be the same tho... jsu my guess.

The only thing I've found so far that is differant is the clear lens in the front and the reflector attached to the lens. The '94-97 version lens is more shallow but I don't know if the housing [big computer grey plastic part] is the same as the '98+. I'm pretty sure the '98 has a deeper lens so they could use a larger reflector in turn enhancing the light output in the later models...I plan on making a junkyard HID setup eventually so I don't really care as long as they are perfectly clean and clear.

As you can see in the above 2nd pic the housing "number" is PP and the lens is PC. Just wondering what it says on the pre '98's.

Yes the older lenses will fit the newer housings (and vice versa), but there is a couple small differences. The part that makes the actual seal is the same shape, but on 94-97 headlights, there are several tabs and 4 metal clips that hold the two halves together (besides the adhesive/sealant obviously). On 98+ headlights there are more tabs, and no clips. If you put the older clear cover on the newer housings, only some of the tabs will connect, and you can't use the metal clips.

But I do have a pair of complete 94-97 headlights I could sell you.
