Default Headlight Enclosures

I have an 01 gsr, and I'm looking into an OEM TSX HID retrofit. I am going to buy a second set of headlights for the project, and the 94-97's are significantly cheaper than 98-01's - obviously. Does anybody know if the clear lenses from 98-01 headlights will fit on the 94-97 enclosure, and accommodate the 98-01 front?

In other words, what part of the headlights are different between the two? The lens, or the whole assembly?

Thanks!

they are different amd upi cant mix them up. on the 94-97 the projector on them are sunken back i think 2 inches. and on the 98+ they are bought out further. the 94-97 housing, w/ the projector in would hit the 98+ headlight front peice or w.e its called. http://www.HIDplanet.com

what alot of people do, is buy the halo's and retro those. its cheaper than OEM, and the problem with them is that they arent sealed well. you get leaks and foggy lights. buy if your retrofitting your gonna end up resealing them anyways. but if you wanan spend the xtra 50-75 bucks. get oem, retro those, and then re sell the ones on your car.
