I have a 1997 SE Accord, and at low RPMS i hear a belt screetching of some sorts.. also, when i turn hard to one way or the other, i hear the same noise.. anyone got any clue which belt this would be.. i did a search, and couldnt find too much that related? Thanks for the help!
When turning the wheels all the way left or right will cause a whine in the power steering pump. Make sure the power steering fluid level is OK.
I have to ask this question - when's the last time you changed your belts? squealing noise from the belts indicates need for replacement or tightening

I don't know if this will help you any, but I had a screeching belt right after I replaced my alternator. My friend and I apparently didn't do a very good job at putting the alternator on and the belt on it started to screech only at low rpms like yours. We gave in and just took it to a mechanic to fix whatever mess we made of the belt and alternator. So, maybe you should look into the belt that's on the alternator. Just my 2 cents...

I cheked the power steering fluid, and its at max, but it looks kinda dark looking? Hmm, it seems to be screeching low when i drive it around, and turning, and low rpms.. Can someone guide me to some guides on belt replacement online? Which belt would this prolly be, any help is nice.. anyone know what i can do to diagnose the problem/isolate the problem as to which belt it may be? thank you.
