Is it legal to put a new steering wheel in a civic that has srs? If it is i am looking for the best price on momo steering wheels.

 

Technically no, you are not supposed to remove the airbag.

what if you have a mechanic that is SAE certified that does it? then is it legal?? HEHEHHE cuz my dads a mechanic and i want a momo steering wheel!!!!

 

it is illegal to remove ANY airbag equiptment, because the car was tested Safe WITH the airbag equiptment and not without. There is no avoiding this, but most cops will not give you a ticket unless they are dicks.
