We won't have any problem heading out of the city.

We are eating breakfast at 8 a.m. By the time we are done and ready to roll, traffic will have mostly cleared for the drive through the city.

Everyone please make sure your car has a full tank of gas when you arrive at the restaurant for breakfast!!!

 

Ken, Jay means that he has to get from Lincoln park to Glenview before 8am. Traffic out of the city at 6:15am-9:00am outbound (northbound) on I-90/94 (94 towards NBK and 90 towards Ohare) is bad, very bad. I did that commute for 2 years.

Sorry, I didn't realize where he was coming from.

Yes, the drive from Lincoln Park to Glenview takes about 20 minutes in non-rush times, and averages 45-50 minutes at that hour. Sometimes longer. And local roads are probably not really a viable alternative.

 

i so don't want to hear anyone bitching. i'm coming from schaumburg at that tyme.

Yeah...it's a bad time. It will take me an hour easily at that hour.

I'm considering Lake Shore Drive, and up Sheridan, then cut over somewhere in the Wilmette area.
