Can someone please explain this??
So I was browsing through the TYpe R Brochure like I do periodically to admire Honda's advertising schemes, and like I have read a hundred times before it says the Type R's are FLAMENCO BLACK PEARL (Paint Code NH-592P)... Then I go out to my 2001 Integra Type R that just happens to be black, and check the paint code B-92P Nighthawk Black Pearl. WTF!!!
Can any one explain this phenom, without telling me that my ITR is not really an ITR, because in order for it not be that person would have to go through great lengths to convice me, the DMV, Acura, and other enthuisist alike that have seen the car it is not an ITR... Please Help!!
Other 2001 Black ITR owners please let me know what the doorjamb has stickered in as paint code.

You are looking at a 2000 Brochure. The 2000 R was FBP. The 2001 was NBP.
There was NO 2001 R brochure made.

Simple, it's a misprint.
I'm lookin at the same 2001 brochure and it indeed lists the colors available for the Type-R to be PY and FBP.
But on my sales reciept from the dealership and whatnot, it clearly says NBP.
So possibly the brochure was produced before the paint/name change was made and or it's a simple misprint.

Nope, the one I have says 2001 but it isn't Type R specific, it's the whole lineup.

This was what I was told when I asked for one from the dealer where I bought both of my R's.

So just so I am clear on this 2000 ITR's are FBP and 2001 NHBP?? Thats a major oversight on my behalf, and here I thought I knew everything

A "2001 NHBP 2001 ITR with 241 miles " and "...not exactly in runnin condition at the moment... "...
Maybe he has a rebuilt motor and is only counting the miles since rebuilt like some do. Then the motor blew and now he is fixing it again. *shrug*
Actually the shell of the car has 241 miles... Just recently purchased it from NY clean title, interior intact etc. etc. I have a golden eagle sleeved 84mm itr block goin in with a head with some work done to it and you guessed it a nice hair dryer!!!
