Well it happened yesterday.

I leave work at Honda and as I'm going straight through the intersection on a green light some lady making a left turn gunned it trying to beat me and BAM I hit her head on.

I saw her moving up but didn't think in a million years that she would have tried to go. I didn't even have time to hit my brakes as it happened so fast.

Both air bags deployed drivers side hitting me in the face(hurt like a ****) Luckily I still had my long sleeve work shirt on as my sleeve on my shirt was burned from the stuff(gunpowder?) inside the airbag.

No one was hurt but can you believe the lady tried to say the light was red?? Luckily a girl stopped and said she saw everything and that the light was green and didn't even turn yellow till AFTER the impact.

I can't believe people these days that would say anything to get out of them doing something wrong.

The tow truck driver said it's gonna be close to being a total writeoff so I might have to start looking for a new car. I just got this car a MONTH AGO and have never been in an accident untill yesterday.

I had the car towed to the bodyshop that our dealership uses so the adjuster is gonna look at it today probably.

Oh well what can you do right?? It's just a pain in the ***.

However, I was recently thinking, maybe I should record all my driving sessions. to the store, to work, running errands. and should something happen, maybe my camera will catch it

Sorry to hear that man! If they total it, just make sure to include all the trinkets and upgrades (don't forget alarm and stereo) to use on another Integra. I've been down the same street, except I was in school when my car got smashed to hell.

actually i really kinda am scared of old people driving... half the time some jabroni cuts me off and I have to slam on the brakes it's an old person and they drive on like nothing happened .. i had one old lady force me into the oncoming traffic lane cus she merged right into my lane with me next to her. Once people pass 60 they should be required to reapply for their license every 3 years or so.

Indeed. Something similar happened to me. I was at work when i get a call from one of the business owners across the street saying someone hit my car. I got outside to find a huge dent in my drivers side fender. Luckily one of the workers in the street saw the car who hit mine, and got its license plate #. The woman decided to keep driving like nothing ever happened. It turned out she left her drivers side rear door open, and while she was turning the corner, it hit my fender, and slammed shut. She stopped for a minute, and then left the scene. When the cop came, he told me the car belonged to a woman who was born in 1922, making her 82 ******* years old. I got in touch with her, and received every penny for the damages. Bitch didn't even say sorry...she didn't even know she hit anything. Her main concern was a ticket the cop gave her for no insurance. She was yelling at me because she thought i was pressing charges. Sooo, the point of my long, and probably useless story is...sue the bitch for everything she has. If your that much of a moron to run a red light, then you should be broke, and in jail. Thank god your ok.

 

Amazing that someone actually stopped and said they'd be a witness.

And the value, insurance and rarity of these cars increases just a little bit more.
