yes i do,
but there are times were i had to adjust the valve with out them,
adjust it loose, then try to tighten the lock nut by hand without moving the adjuster, then snug them with a 10mm socket. the adjuster will move, but since you adjust them loose, it should be ok. recheck the clearance
but still i recomend you use the special tool, makes like easier and faster

just do your valves every 15k(honestly) and then it doesn't seem so bad, does it?

$50 is kind of steep for a tool thats only used once every 30K miles under severe conditions. What brand is that one?</TD></TR></TABLE>

And yet other people won't bat an eye at $200. aluminum jacks, or $900. headers and exhausts, or $500. 17" blingerZoRz.

Get the correct tool the for the job.

$50. is pocket change in the grand scheme of things.

This works too, but it takes time. It is much much faster with the snap-on locknut adjustment tool Well worth the $$ IMO

its a matco.

steep? but people have NO problem paying 45 for some drain plugs.

and if you like to rev you need to check your valve more often then 30k.
