engine managment systems

anyone here ever use a stand alone engine managment system in thier car(mainly drag). What did you use and what kind of experiences did you have with it?

we used sds on my friends car it ran really good no crazy problems, just kinda a little hard to wire up but not that bad. It rocks for turbo/no2/high compression, But if you are i/h/e you will be wasting your money.

I'm talkin bout an all motor track only car

I am just seeing people's experiences before we go and get one for our project

LOOK INTO THE AEM,HONDATA SYSTEMS NEW;USER FRIENDLY;EXTREMELY VARIABLE. OF COURSE ACCEL DFI IS NO JOKE EITHER JUST NEEDS A GOOD TUNER AS WITH THEM ALL ULTIMATELY!
