Default How-to: Save money for Yuengling/Expo/etc.

Threw the R on jackstands this afternoon to swap out my GT-Sports for some OEM pads I had laying around (or so I thought). I don't drive my R on track this year(due to lack of drivers license that I don't get back until March 2005), and I'm abiding by Team Lazy rules by not cleaning my OEM wheels, so a milder street pad with less dust is all the car needs. Anywho, I get the car on stands and realize the pads I thought I kept in a box were for my '89 Si that I sold a month ago. f0k. So I get a ride to Autozone from my Dad and they guy behind the counter showed me the first pad on the screen (cheapest too) and they looked like this...

... as you can see I bought them. $11.59 according to the computer. When I get to the register....

2 year warranty?! LMAO. Who the hell would waste time driving back to AutoZone to warranty $8.40 pads? My Dad asked me how much the damage was, so I told him. He was like "Huh?!" I figure why not just for daily driving. Just call me "Cheap ***" at Exp0.

EDIT for clarification: .CN/Chris N will be driving #57 at Expo but with Cobalt VRs I think.

they suck....

after one-ish 'panic stop' the brakes go directly to the floor of my hatchcrap....lmao

but for less than ~20ish dollars to bling out the whole car, and pads that are now approaching 2 years old (45k ish street miles), they were worth the millah lyte money saved.
