99-00 Civic Complete dash into 97 HB? Before i buy i want to talk to people how have done it

My girl has a 97 EK hb and i have a 99, My 99 interior is so much darker and looks alot better so she wants to get it also, but the 99-00 center console is diffrent and i was wondering if i have to do any wiring or will it be a plug and play Deal? Any help or pics would help alot! I mean alot! thanks alot!

i heard something about the climate control being different and wiring for that is a B_TCH. but i guess she can keep her old climate control panel and use a 99-00 dash.
