Default Newest B16 powered EG on the block.... (pics)

I traded a friend my stock 94 CX motor/trans/ecu/ etc... for this JDM b16a + $450. I feel i got a deal, although there are a few things that need to be fixed (i.e. ground wires, basic maintenance, radiator hoses are old, etc...) So me and a friend did this over the weekend, Im fairly happy as of right now, but my Greddy goes on tommorrow, which will make things a little less noisy.

Anyways, on to the pics:

Before- Stock CX

JDM B16a - stock internals
Chipped P28 ECU
Greddy muffler w/ custom 2 1/4" cat-back
Airmass Header (anyone wanna trade??)
Cheap intake w/K&N filter
whatever trans usually comes with B16a swaps, not positive (pic below)
GSR shifter

And the friend who had this motor in his <A TITLE="Click for more information about car" STYLE="text-decoration: none; border-bottom: medium solid green;" HREF="http://search.targetwords.com/u.search?x=5977|1||||cars|AA1VDw">car</A>, doesnt know why, but there is a piece of foil or something on the intake manifold... Can someone please tell me what this is and what i need to do to correct it.

Let me know what you guys think about it, and anything you see that i should fix, just point it out... Thanks !!!

Im also in the process of building a D16z6 for a turbo project. Im gonna try to come up with an EF/CRX to drop that in when its done. But the CX motor was killing me, i had to jump on this even though i got that other buildup going...

Like i said, im rather happy with it so far.

That's not a stock B16A intake manifold!

The vaccum line is much father over... The foil looks poorly installed, I would have your friend plug that properly. The air coming thru that hole is not being filtered.

Maybe an LS, I'm not sure...

I still may be wrong, I haven't seen every B16A/1/2/3 JDM and or USDM intake manifold...

Go to a Lowe's, or hardware store. Find a screw plug/cap. It's a little plastic condom type thing. Find one to the similar size and plug it, otherwise duct tape should do the trick for the time being...

thats a b16a manifold..thats where the fpr vacumn line plugs into..looks as if the nipple has been broken off..just spend the 250 bucks and get a skunk2 manifold or buy a used one for alot cheaper

really?? hmm, sounds alright to me. my friend pieced this swap together (i.e. motor, trans, IM, ecu, etc...), thats the reason for the mismatched parts.

so can anyone verify the specs on the B16a for me?? thanks alot
