I have never had this happen before, the last time i got in my car, my blower motor for the fan (interior) did not work. I checked fuses, but they seem ok. Is it normal for this to go, i thought they would make funny noises or something, not just quit?
Will it be an SOB to replace?

check the wiring connections from the climate control to the fan ... make sure it didnt short out...
mine's a off and on problem....some days it works great, some days none at all...i think my motor is shot on it.....come winter come! (gets near 100* here)
Usually the blower motor resister takes a dump before the motor does itself. Have you checked to see if you get any air flow at any speed setting, like maybe nothing on 1 or 2 but on high you get some flow?
Our cars leak pretty bad, water/condensation get down under the dash/from the cowel/windshield and get into the motor and also burn up the resister.
Id also checked the blower motor relay, atleast Im not sure if our ef's have one, I would assume so, every other car I have ever worked on has one. somtimes the relay takes a pooh but usually your fuse will go before the relay.
