Installing a quaife LSD in a 95 gsr tranny. Ive read alot of writeups suggesting to switch to the newer ITR bearings which i have done. My question is with the shims. I am getting .155" gap from the bearing to the casing. The biggest shim available is somthing like .075. My understanding is to use only 1 shim so what could i be missing? I have the older helms manual that doesnt say anything about the itr bearings so i cant look this one up myself. Any help is appreciated.
