Default What type of mounts should be used for b-series in an EF?

Are there any stock mounts that can be used in this situation or does it have to be aftermarket?
Also how many mount points are there in an ef for a b-series?

I'm not completely sure on this but I've heard of 92-95 EG and 90-93 DA mounts being used on B series. You do have to use the 90-93 Rear mount if you are going B series. That's a must

Has to be aftermarket (Place Racing, Hasport, AN-R, Arizona Racing, etc.)

Drivers side mount, transmission mount, rear motor mount (90-93 Teg bracket), and some people retain the front crossmember mount, but its not a must
So 3 mostly

You can use stock mounts if you cut and weld your current mounting points to match those from Civic/Crx SiR. Otherwise, you will need an aftermarket mount kit. It is possible to use stock mounts with some modifications. However, the motor may not fit correctly and may lead to other problems. Many of the aftermarket mount kits have been optimized for proper axle angle and overall fit and are worth the money they cost. I believe the stock jdm ef has 4 mount points for the b16a.

Is it safe with only three mounts holding up the motor? I thought there should be 5 mounts... two on sides. one in rear and two in the front no?

I've had hasport mounts for almost 3 years and have never had a single problem with them. They hold the engine in place very nicely with only 3 mounts.

what about stock mounts from a 90-93 integra? could those fit a b-series into an EF with no modifications?

no.
I recommend Arizona Race & Machine.
They're the only other company (to my knowledge) that uses the SAME CADD designing processes. They look identical to Hasports and use the same polyurethane like hasport. They are made of the same materials as Hasports. They also only cost $280 shipped. These mounts are excellent and I deal with no other. They align the motor like stock. I mean, if u use these mounts, the crank pulley bolt lines up in the stock location as if it were a dseries motor where the black plastic wheel well guard has the hole in it (if you know what I'm saying).

Just like their motto says... "If you're not getting mounted by HASPORT, you're just getting screwed."

Is that a reply to my question about using DA mounts in my EF to do a b-series swap?

what about the shift linkage? I heard you have to either buy one aftermarket or get one fabricated to fit?
Why is this the case?

Because the stock one won't work. Do a search.

I'm going to have to recommend these too. There about half the price and idenical to hasport in every way possible.

Hasport is nice but your mostly paying for the name

It won't work, the subframe (part with the steering rack) is RHD, when our USDM cars are LHD.

Check out Full-race, they're having a hasport sale for not much more than those AZ mounts, I don't want to say the price because they don't advertise it.
