Default Right forum? Front mount and a B swapped EF

I have the place racing mounts on my ls/vtec turbo. Going to push 400-450 horse. Since I only have 3 mounts( Left, Right, Rear) Is that safe to do that? I would think I need a 4th front mount engine mount. Any options for me?

Innovative motorsports makes a front crossmember for the ef with the plates welded on for a front motor mount. I have it on mine but didnt buy the mount yet.

WHEN u buy a set of traction bars for ur car, u will be able to weld a bracket for a front mount.

I know HASport mounts dont need the 4th, but u dont have HASports.

If they are similar, i would say ur good, and if the car stays on the street, then ur definetly good b/c 400hp isnt goiong to hook anyways.

Most people don't use the front mounts on the EFs when running a B series. You can add it easily with the Innovative bar (I run one) or you can weld on to any traction bar.
It is more than safe to run without it, but beneficial to add it on.

Thanks. I already have a jimfab traction bar. I will be running drag radials all the time. I think I will just get a bracket mounted to the traction bar.

yup. Pretty standard to not run that front mount with a b series EF. Just make sure the 3 mounts you are using are in good shape and you will be fine.
