Default Gas Filler moved to rear?

I've seeen this before on supras, It is an externally mounted filler neck for your gas tank, It looks almost flush from the outside, maybe sticking out a 1/4 inch. It may have been in an issue of Superstreet on a white supra. Anyways i was going to play around with adding a fuel cell and thought this would be a unique mod for an integra. If anyone knows what i am talking about or knows where to buy them or has a picture, please post. Thanks

because air take up space.

you add in gasoline and you have to let the air out fast if you wish to have the fill in done asap

Any opinions on how this would look on a DC2 between the tail lights?

I think the Silver C-west integra thats in the C-west ads has that mod. Its really only for race cars. Its so that when the car comes into the pit, they can refuel quickly. The other hole lets out the gases/air that needs to escape when you dump more fuel in..

Come on, someone has to think this would be cool if you where doing a fuel cell in the trunk. Then I could get rid of the gas tank door.

It'd be cool if it was a race car. Why the hell do you need a fuel cell anyways?

Im undecide for now, but i am pulling my motor this winter and building a turbo setup in hopes of 400 whp. I have been reading aobut the big external pumps/sumps/surge tanks and i havent really decided which way to go. I dont want to sump because i like to drive the tank low alot and i know i would hit it on something here in WI. I just made the post to see if anyone has done it or if it would even be possible for a street car.

If you wanna shave your gas door, just put the filler behind one of your taillights.
