I GOT CBR ITBS ON MY CAR AND NOW IM GETTING 16 MPG AS COMPARED TO 30 PREVIOUSLY. CAN A SIMPLE FUEL PRESSURE REGULATOR FIX IT???? WHAT ABOUT V-AFC????? ANY IDEAS????

 

Use a V-AFC or a Hondata to tune the car.

 

lol. thats pretty funny i did a setup with gixxer 750's and i am getten 10 to the gallon, i put a vacuum tank on the map and it helped a little bit...i am pretty sure it is a goofy map single because there is no manifold........they are fun though

 

you honestly cannot expect good mpg figures with ITB's if you have not tuned them. at idle, the vacuum is only about -12in/hg (as per j davis), while normally it is -25in/hg, so basically your ecu thinks you are at part throttle and begins to dump in more fuel

 

Yeah, I'm gettin around 15-20mpg. You got to luv the response on the ITB's....

 

ok ok i did expect some mpg difference, but will leaning it out with a V-AFC make it run better? my buddy just pulled a car and a half on my with his b16, i dont like that.
