what does it mean when you turn your key on but you dont hear that 3 second pressureizing sound and then the check engine light shuts off... this hasent been happening the last few days in my car... at least not every time

the battery and check engine light stay on untill i actually start my car then there off.. sometimes if i sit for a sec before starting it i wait about 30 sec then i hear a click or 2 and the presurrizing sound and the check light goes off but the battery light stays on..

im not sure if this might have somthing to do with it but within the last week i put a yellow top optima in and also my engine bay was spayed with water.

swap your main relay with a friend. THey get old and this can often happen. Especially in hot humid weather.

Replaced mine 2 days ago.. I knew it was the MR for sure because i gave it a kick and it started working again.

i was so out of gas for like 2 days and didnt notice. backed out my driveway and my car died and didnt start again for a minute... thing was running on fumes 2 days. put a few bucks in it and it was fine.
