Default Older honda stalling in turns

This is a question for those who are familiar with an older Honda. I have a 1985 Honda civic with a carb. I am racing on an oval track in the thunder class division. I have all kinds of power down the straight stretch, but when I hit the turn, the car basically quits until I hit the back straight, and off I go again. I have replaced the fuel pump, distributor and fuel filter. There are other carbed cars on the track, but they are not having the problem. Does anybody have an idea?

you might have to try and find an OG weber carb that resists harsh angles and high lateral forces.
