Default Z10 Radius arms and Drag 3

I've had my Drag kit and Radius arms both on for a good 3 months, however because of the radius arms and the intercooler piping, my Intercooler has been forced to sit about 1 inch lower then the body of the car, meaning there is a gap up top between the intercooler and the metal bar which it attaches to. Now besides the fact it doesn't look very professional, my type R lip and lower air dam cover up about 4 bars of the intercooler. What I was thinking of doing was taking the radius arms off, and cut off the pieces that mount it to the car, then weld on two longer pieces and drill the holes up higher, basically allowing the bar to sit lower so I can mess with the IC piping and bring it up where it should be. Has anyone tried this before? Another idea was to get a pipe custom made that bent down alowing me to mess with it, but I think i'm gonna stick with modifying the Radius Arms. anyone have any ideas or suggestions?

oh yeah DIRep, if it wasn't for this crap im going through then I'd say it's almost a no-brainer whether or not to get the radius arms. But it has killed all of my wheel hop, and it also got rid of all the twitchyness that my steering wheel had from the power steering. if you don't mind your intercooler sitting down further, and the piping pulled up a bit go for it. Otherwise you will probably have to do what i'm gonna be doing in a month give or take.
