Hey i was looking for the clear vacuum hoses that pople have in there cars that usually look nice. For example the one that goes from the PVC valve to intake. My smaller hoses for coolant are cracking and i need to replace them. Anyone know where to get these?

 

im sure you can get it from hardware stores. i dunno if it will be safe, but they make translucent ones.

 

That clear tube is crap, it collapse under heat from the engine bay. Fuel line hose can take the heat and has never failed me yet.

I'm actually looking for some good hose also, I have a J's intake and I didn't get the tubing that's supposed to come with it

reccomendations are appreciated

 

Its probably a high temp tygon tubing. The only problem I see with that is it does discolor very easily.

 

they sell stuff at home depot that works good and withstands heat fairly well.

 

i wish i could replace all the hoses under the hood so i could watch the fluids move around, that would be sweeet,

 

For the breather to the intake arm I used some reinforced PVC hose from Home Depot... look for it in the plumbing section. No problems with it collasping.

For the small coolant hoses replace with fuel line hose... PVC won't last very long with the high heat and pressure of the engine coolant.
