The previous owner of my car dropped the front end a bit and the radius arm is hitting the tranny causing a dent. I have a B16A swap with an S1 tranny in my 1991 crx si. Is this a common problem?
Do I need to raise it back to stock height? I dont want to risk cracking the case on my new tranny that I will be purchasing soon (hopefully).

I'm interested in knowing if anyone else has that problem or not because a friend of mine wants to lower his CRX as well.

 

Sounds like your mounts place the engine too low.

I have place racing mounts. Is this a common problem with them? Would mounts from HCP fix this?

 

I don't have a crx but on my lowered b16a sedan I don't have problems with the radius arms hitting the trans. By the way I am running Hasport mounts.

 

Different mount kit wont fix it much.
Raise it back up a bit.
