Default Bare Minimum Connections/Sensors/Solenoids on B16A Engine

I am currently in the process of building a custom project that uses a B16A SIR2 engine for the powerplant. I am going to construct a custom wiring harness for the engine to ECU part of the application. I am trying to determine what the minimum amount of things I can run or not run to make the engine still run correctly. Other than the normal:

-Injectors
-VTEC Solenoid
-VTEC Oil Pressure
-Knock Sensor
-O2 Sensor
-Alternator

What are the other bare minimum items that would need to be hooked up to make it run. I know this may sounds like a noob question or something, but I am hoping that someone that has created a full race B16A engine can help me in know what things they eliminated to make it run with the bare amount of things. Once the project get more on its way, I will be posting detailed info about the project.

Yeah, I kinda forgot about the distributor, TPS, map sensor, oil pressure, temp sensors, I knew those had to be hooked up. It more came down to stuff like the EVAP solenoid, fast idle, start idle, intake air temp, etc.. more like stuff bolted to the intake manifold. Trying to clean it up as much as possible, wanna go for a real slick look, while still working, you know. I figured I would probably have to go with everything currently connected, just was trying to avoid.

Anyone knows of something I could do without or do in a different manner to eliminate anything, it would be appreciated.

Thanks.

usually everything plugged in has to have "readings" and they all work in conjunction to make the car run properly

Damn. Oh well no biggie. If I am already creating a custom harness, whats a few more wires, right? Thanks for the help.
