does anybody know of a front kit for a 88crx si that has a very large opening to accomadate a huge intercooler? nothing too ricey pleeze! any info would be great.
thinking of just cutting the hell out of my stock one!?!

 

i've seen the mugen one slightly cut and it looked pretty good with a big intercooler

 

For my 31x8x2.75 intercooler I had to take off the bottom lip and cut out the rest of the bottom thats under the "hole". Even now, my intercooler sits alittle up in the bumper, and hangs alittle low.

 

You have a few options. I would cut up my stock bumper if on a budget. If that were not the case. I would look at a mugen, blitz, even an r33 style. Look up bodykits on google. There are at least 3 or 4 kits that aren't too ricey.
