Well I have a JR liquid supercharged type R. its a 2001 running hondata with a P28 ecu... 440 RC injectors, ect...

I finally finished the car and yet for a rip hitting boost then I see my check engine light come one, so I bridge the connector so I can read the code and its gives me 4 long flashes on the cluster... anyone know what code that is?

well code 40 dosent exsist.. and code 4 is crank position sensor? WTF is that
and when the engine light is on the car idles soo low almost staling!

i dont want to go to the garage on sunday night to look in the service manual sorry!

i havent looked, but if 40 doesnt exist, then that would indicate you may be reading it wrong.

 

well code 4 on OBD cars is
4 CKP - crank position sensor

whats that?

40 does not exist, but you are obviously not reading it correctly.

 

so there no way its code 4....4 CKP - crank position sensor

that would mean the sensor in my distributor is screwed no? or I put my timming belt on wrong,, like one tooth off!
