how much do they weigh? i've read that the 16"X7" 40mm offset weighing in at 16lbs? doesn't this sound like a lot? esp compared to the slipstreams? correct me if im wrong

You may be confusing the Rota slipstream 15's with the 16's. Rota slipstream 15's weigh at 12 lbs each, while the 16's weigh 16 lbs...I think..

16.5lbs...i think. I just looked at a list of rims and their weights and that number comes to mind.

i don't see how they could weigh 12lbs for the c8's?? others are saying that the 16's weight 16lbs even and i doubt 1in smaller could make the difference of 4lbs!??

yes, I guess I left that part out... I was trying to compare apples to apples.
15" c8 = 12 lbs
16" c8 = ~16 lbs
15" gsr rim = 15.5 lbs

doh! you are RIGHT! the GSR 94-95 is 15+ lbs... sorry to be such an **** ...

I could swear 95 GSR wheels were 16lbs! Are you sure?

C8s are definitely 12lbs...I weighed mine and they were 12.00 on the dot.

I thought that GSR wheels weighed 15.5 lbs. I have never measured them for myself, though....

 

GSR RIMS are not 12lbs their 15+ lbs
cause i have slips and gsr rims are way heavier....
even the guy who mounted the tires to my slips said that
the 4 rotas could be the weight of 3 of the gsr rims...

and i weighed it right now, cause i have a set of 95' gsr rims with no tires
sitting in my garage....UP FOR SALE....not officially yet.

yah you guys are right, I checked soem paperwork I had here from when I shipped out my GSR wheels, so I changed my posts above.. yes 94-95 gsr rim is 15.5 lbs.
