Has anyone ever painted or dye'd you whole interior? I would like to see pics. Ive just started on mine, got both doors done. Everything is gonna be black except the gray cloth inserts.
for plastics i used krylon fusion(this stuff dries w/in minutes and i tried to scrape it off w/fingernail to see if it held well, and it is like 'fused' to the plastic
this stuff rocks)
for vinyl i used 'Dupli-Color Vinyl and Fabric' this also holds really well..
I will have pics when im all done. But any of you done this? Got pics?

So the "fusion" stuff is for interior plastics, but how does it spray? Is it really dry like flat black, or wet like regular spray paint? Easy to use?

The Krylon Fusion holds great, it doesnt stick like normal spray paint, Its like part of the plastic now. You cant ever scrape it off if you try
Here is an example of somone doing this to their supra(also the place where i got my idea from): http://www.supraforums.com/for...05031
I will have my pics up soon here

I did my girlfriend's 3rd gen accord a couple years ago

I later did every plastic piece in the car, even the door panels. It all has held up great over the past couple years, except for the trunk, that went to ****.

I forgot to take before pics, so this is the passenger side door, so use this as a b4 refrence.
Finished product:
Sorry it took so long, no digi, had to get pics developed!
but both doors are done now. I really like how it turned out. Ill post more pics soon when I finish the whole interior.

Looks like it turned out nice. I'd do something with the fabric though. It sticks out to much now. Maybe some CTR red fabric or something.

I got Krylon Fusion at Walmart, the dupli-color vinyl paint was purchased at Autozone.
No primer is needed. But make sure after you take the pieces out, wash them REAL good(i just used soapy water and scrubbed) dry it, and paint, both paints dry w/in minutes.

krylon fusion sucks. i think the only reason it works 'better' than nrmal paint is cause they have a shitty *** tip on the can so you have to spray it in super thin coats or itll drip. if you spend the time todo thaty with regular paint itd come oyut the same.
i used it and im not very happy with it. but the areas i used it wont get much traffic so ill hold up fine.
and DONT use rustoleum vinylpaint..
it doesnt mix with anyyyyything. just stay away from it youll be veryy sorry if you use it. i ruined a door panel with it

the best stuff for changing interior color is SEM. you should be able to get it at your local automotive paint store.

nope theres not much shine to it unless you buy the ones with gloss. lots of people use this stuff especially in the lowriding industry. interior is what this stuff is made for.

SEM is good **** . you can pretty much get whatever sheen you need from them . semi , flat , gloss , etc....holds up very good
price is around $9-10 a can .
