gsr cluster swappers, is this missing a connector or not?
It's a good price, but if it's missing somethin I need, then I don't care to mess with it, since every wiring shematic I've read doesn't work for everyone, but I really enjoy these clusters since the tach is most correct for the b16 er whatever, and lights up better at night, and the higher speedo doesn't hurt either.

see the backs of the clusters pic?

to the left of the right connector it seems to have a connector missing, or am i just dumb and it's not needed??? errr, i'd think it is, but I did read something about that manual clusters didn't need this?

I did this cluster swap. You are fine. I believe that the missing plug is where the automatic indicator lights, etc. plug in. I only used the two big plugs in each corner of the cluster and everything (except the low fuel warning light) works on my CRX. I've got a spreadsheet that I made with the pinout info if you need it.
yes the missing one is for automatic lights. you are fine. the swap is easy as hell. to me 20 minutes to install it. i didnt use anybody's diagram. i just traced everything on the back of the gauge clusters myself. that took like 45 minutes.

so I guess it took 1hr and 5 mins
correct>>>??
45 mins. to trace wires back plus 20 mins to install....
yeah it took me about the same to do my si-R cluster
just as long as u got the clips and can tell colored wires apart then it should be easy as pie

yes took about an hour to install. i didnt match wire colors. i just matched pin locations. i didnt care about colors.

oh yeah and those w/the 88-89 civic/crx lemme know which writeup you used to do this, and if you know what year the teg cluster was also, that'd be great
I'll prolly try color matching wires first, then test it
