Default Installed my GSR brakes, and new intake combination

Your opinions?

OEM airbox on AEM tube. I still need to trim the tube another 1/2" to get the airbox to bolt in at stock location. I'm going to remove the AEM sticker and paint the tube black. K&N drop-in filter in the box. IMO this looks much cleaner than a cone filter and it's quieter.

UPDATE, finished pics:

The box is much quieter and I noticed no power loss on the butt dyno. The sound is great and VTEC crossover sounds better IMHO.

Also: Ignore the filthy engine bay, it will be cleaned next week when the new motor goes in

Did the AEM tube fit right into the air box or did you have to trim it out a little? looks really nice by the way

I was amazed - the tube was a perfect snug fit

You or someone else has posted that in another forum.

Not thread jacking you but I just found it. There are more opinions in there for ya.

unfourtunately there is but it looks a certain way people some people are into

I just bought an SIR intake arm and box for mine, but when I get more serious and build another engine for it that will be replaced for an AEM CAI

Brewer: You're better off with a stock intake tube (if you have one). The AEM is metal and conducts heat, while the stock rubber tube hardly does.
