Default question, launched the rex

i was driving last night around residential area goin around 40 or so. i come to an intersection with these rough dips and had no time to stop (no damn signs saying theres a HUGE dip coming up , so BAM hit the first one super hard and sent me only to take the second one. my question is, what could have messed up/broke in that situation? it didnt blow my shocks, i could have bent an axle maybe? im kinda paranoid because i know you dont come out of a situation like that as good as you went into it, you know what i mean? i did smell something after driving around a while after it happened, like burning oil or something. helppppppp

my guess would be maybe u just smelled ur tires..they probably just rubbed the wheel well when u hit the dips hard, its happened to me before, nothing else happened, just smells like when u dump the clutch and burn out or just launching hard. thats only my guess though.

Check upper and lower ball joints, tie rods, upper and lower control arms, Oil pan, header, B pipe and an overall look around. If you don't see cracks or something leaking then I say your OK.

it was residential at night, i wasnt driving stupid either, just on my way to a friends house chilling in 3rd gear not revving high at all, and that **** jumped out at me . thanks for the help though, i did a quick check right after and noticed the header was pinched, but im pretty sure it was like that when i bought it. thanks for all the help though, ill check it out in detail soon.

EDIT: i think the oil pan thing is a possibility though since i smelled **** when i parked my car after another 30-40 minutes of driving.

same thing happened to me last week except it wasnt a dip it was leftover blacktop left on the shoulder of the road after paving. Ripped a huge hole in my oilpan and destroyed my header. Oh the city is gonna pay for this one..
