Just got my GSR tranny in my B20 LS!
Man what a difference.
I break them loose when I hit the top of first, second pulls damn hard, but the biggest difference of all is 3rd. 3rd ****** pulls man.
I sit about about 3750 going 70.
All in all, it was well worth it.

Go with the B18C1 tranny. I had a ITR tranny (same gears as a B16) on my ls and it was too short in my opinion. The GSR tranny is a nice in-between step.
Stock B20 with B20 head. P74 ECU, LS intake mani, disti, injectors, wiring harness. 94 Integra LS.

Yea. Just because I got a good deal on the GSR tranny doesn't mean I'm going to give my LS tranny away. It's still worth something...

Not yet. My room mate wrecked the CV seal in the diff so I've been leaking oil all over. I just swapped it with the one from my old tranny until the new one arrives. We don't really have a track here. Except College Ave...
Tranny upgrades are always the best. Definately one of the smartest things to do if your looking for all motor performance.
I had a 4.785 jdm fd in my ITR tranny last year. I tell you what, those were perfect gear ratios for an all motor race car. Very short....however, highway driving did suck.
Im now back to my GSR tranny because I went turbo, I love it. Best of both worlds, great acceleration and good for cruising. Both are great trannies.
As far as the gas statement above. You won't see any difference in gas mileage. You will however, if you get addicted to the extra acceleration and tend to keep your foot planted on the pedal

my friend had a stock b20b bottom end with a p&p head along some 62403s...on ls tranny then swap to a gsr tranny it was a great improvement over all pulled throw rpms like now he got a vtec loves it....
i had a built ls/vtec jdm itr piston with gsr head and itr cams on a ls tranny....prolly hella restricted acceleration since the gears are so damn long....but the compression compenstate for it...never got to swtich trannies wrecked my car soo soon....oh well

ok...I doubt it. Granted the car is faster then before; but all I have is a stock B20B (more importantly stock cams and compression), DC header, race cat, CAI, and P74 ECU. Just adding the GSR tranny is NOT going to bump me down into the 13's.
Now once I get the crower 404's in...that's a different story.
Also, I'm pretty sure my heavy *** AEM big rotor kit eats up at least 10 hp. Add the full interior, and 3 10's (albeit in a fiberglass box), amps, and misc. extra weight...I'll be happy with mid 14's.

i have a b20b block with a 1993 gsr head and a jdm gsr sld tranny
but i use to have a integra 1995 ls tranny the diference is:
jdm lsd tranny: 5 gear doing 80mph 4000 rpm
my 95 teg ls tranny: 5 gear doing 80mph 3500rpm
i miss my ls 5 gear on the hwy ,
the other day i race a 1995 civic hatchback eg with a b18c1 motor
i race him 4 times
i beat him 2 times and he beat me 2 times , but i feel i can beat him all the time but the 2 times he beat me i made a mistakes when taking off'
i suck shifting , plus his car is 500 lbs ligther than my integra right?
when i was shifthing gears i can keep my gear longer than him in all of the gear because of the torque of my b20b , i have a ls chipped ecu
and i like to shift at 8000 rpm in all gears but i sold my thacometer and somethimes i when higher than 8000 rpm so maybe thats way he beat me 2 times of 4 , i remember when i was on 2 gear about6500 rpm he was already shifting to 3 , i like to get all of the rpm on each gear with my b20 i can stay longer than any b18c1
