Default T1R (Type One Racing) compared to Fujitsubo?

I'm going to get a new exhaust and narrowed it down to these two. How do they compare in how they sound? I've heard a soundclips for both but they were kinda shitty. The T1R seem like it has a deeper tone...I dunno, whatcha ya think?
Would it be good for turbo applications, because I'm planning on running a Full-RAce stage 3 turbo kit.

I made great power with the T1R (2.5", all stainless, no bottlenecks) setup combo'd with the JDM 4-1:
Same day dyno comparison of my car *stock* VS JDM 4-1, 2.5" resonated testpipe, and T1R 2.5" catback.

I made almost identical #'s to 92typer with the T1R. I made 179/125 hitting my jdm governor. Setup was t1r catback, carsound 2.5" cat, jdm itr 4-2-1.

I love the t1r, never raspy.

ive always liked the fujitsubo but i went with the t1r instead. more power ,better sound, better price. better looking is up for public opinion but i think the t1r looks better. a true 2.5 inch exhaust gets my vote. get the t1r kid

if your lookin into exhaust for a daily driver, fujitsubo is the best bet. i rode in an ep hatch that had fujitsubo exhasut on it and its only loud when you ge ton it. you wont be gettin headaches during those long highway trips...

I love the fujitsubo for its weight, great sound and power. The T1R is a much more agressive exhaust system.

Even with the ATS 4.9 final drive, my T1R is not loud during daily driving and highway trips. I can have the radio on very low and not have any difficulty hearing it. Keep in mind, the muffler design is very similar to that of the RM-01A, so sound will be similar, and only deeper from the larger diameter. From riding in other R's with Sp00m N1, and another with a Tanabe Racing medallion, I can say mine is nowhere near that bad in terms of loudness.

In all honesty, I would get a 3" exhaust if you are planning on boosting. i ran a 2.25" Exhaust on my boosted Civic and i made 295whp, then with using a cutout we opened the exhaust to a 3.5" and it made 420whp. So if you are planning on boosting, then I would suggest you going with a 3"

Here is my dyno sheet:

If you are talking about the T1R, AJ-Racing is the only importer. IPSracing and RandDmotorsports get their T1R products from AJ, but adjust their prices independently from eachother. R&D typically has this exhaust on special more often than IPS or AJ. Hope that helps.

Aj-racing are getting their shipment in this week or next. They sell out pretty quick. I ordered mine over a month ago and can't wait to get. I'm glad I work 5 minutes from their shop.

I checked AJ's... Just wondering if you guys are running the Power exhaust system or the sports system to get these dyno numbers. Also without sound being a considering factor how does the T1R compare to the Spoon N1? My brother just got a job working as a tech for honda and can get me deals on spoon parts.

What was the price?

Do you remember what the price was for exhaust and the price for axle back alone?

I love my Fuji, it's quiet when it needs to be and sounds great at WOT. I have heard the T1R also and it also has a nice note.

When I get around to dyno'ing my new setup I will post the numbers.

fujitsubo is a nice exhaust and i almost went with it. but i chose the t1r because it just produces more power and it sounds damn good. i love it now and would not trade in for any other exhaust. good fitment and quality also. go with the t1r trust me..

I get my stuff from A&J at wholesale because I'm a motor dealer. The web site should say. I think it's $578US for the catback and $323US for the axle back.
